Reason for decision The Ca binet Member agreed the proposed lease renewal in accordance with the Council’s C onstitution. This requires the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure to formally authorise the grant of a lease of 7 years or under at a rent of between £10k - £100k. Alternative options considered and rejected The Cabinet Member could have chosen not to approve the lease renewal negotiated. Officers can implement Cabinet Member decision in this notice only from the expiry of the scrutiny call-in period which is: Wednesday 23 February 2022 However, this is subject to the decision not being called in by Councillors on the relevant Select Committee. Upon receipt of a valid call-in request, Democratic Services will immediately advise the relevant officer(s) and the decision must then be put on hold.
