Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by
Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon:

Decision Agreed
That the Leader of the Council, in consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Adults, Children, Health & Care:
1. Approved the direct award to Trinity Homeless
Projects for the provision of Resettlement
Support Services for the London Borough of
Hillingdon for an initial 2 -year period, from 1
August 2026 to 31 July 2028, at a total value of
£200,000.
2. Agreed the option to extend the contract for a
further 1 year, delegating authority to the
Corporate Director of Resident Services, in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Adults,
Children, Health & Care at a cost of £100,000 per
annum.
Reason for decision To ensure continued compliance with grant conditions
associated with Government resettlement schemes. The
service is fully funded through Government grant funding
and has no direct financial impact on Council resources.
To maintain continuity of a vital service that supports
residents under resettlement programmes and contributes
to social value.
To deliver cost efficiency through a single provider model.

including staff who can communicate in relevant community
languages, avoiding additional costs that would otherwise
be incurred through subcontracted translation service.
Alternative options
considered and rejected
Option A - Competitive Tender Process - this option was
considered but deemed unsuitable due to the specialist
nature of the service currently delivered by Trinity Homeless
Projects. The provider has developed significant local
knowledge, alongside strong and trusted relationships with
resettled communities over a number of years.
Option B - Continue to deliver in-house delivery model - this
option did not represent best value for money and was
rejected.
