Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by

Decision Agreed
The Leader of the Council, in consultation with the
relevant Cabinet Members:
1. Approved the freehold purchase of Flats 1 –70,
North Block, 40 Estate Road, Hayes UB4 8LX, for
use as HRA social rented housing.
2. Authorised the release of capital funding, as set
out in the confidential report, to support the
acquisition and associated costs, including legal,
valuation and survey fees.
3. Approved the use of contingency funding within
the HRA Capital Programme to meet additional
scheme costs.
4. Approved the receipt and use of external funding
to support the acquisition, including acceptance
of the associated terms and conditions.
5. Noted and accepted the payback period outlined
in the report.
6. Authorised the Corporate Director of Residents
Services, in conjunction with the Cabinet Member
for Planning, Housing & Property, to take any

further necessary decisions in relation to the
project.
Reason for decision The flats will be let to eligible households on the Hillingdon
Housing Register in line with the approved Social Housing
Allocation Policy. These households will benefit from
secure, high-quality housing at social rent levels. There will
be limited impac t on the local community as there are no
immediate neighbours.
